How is an evidence-linked evaluation different from an AI startup score?
A single score compresses many judgements into one number that is hard to question. An evidence-linked record shows each claim, where it appears, what is missing and what to ask next, so the committee can discuss the reasoning instead of the number.

What a committee needs from screening
Committees need to explain why an application moved forward or did not. That requires the underlying claims and gaps, not only a ranking.
How Zurvek approaches it
Zurvek does not issue scores, grades or recommendations. It produces a standardized IC memo per startup, a claim ledger linked to deck pages, a five-role adversarial review, risk dimensions and committee questions, sealed as a decision record.
Worked example (synthetic)
In the synthetic Aster & Moss sample, the review roles disagree on repeat purchase. The record shows the claim, the challenge, the evidence available, the resolution and the impact on committee questions.
Read the full synthetic sample recordWhat this does not capture
- A structured record takes longer to read than a number.
- It does not rank startups against each other automatically.
